Wencon Product Applications and Resistances
Wencon Putty
- Applications: Ideal for patching, sealing, and filling cracks and leakages.
- Curing Time: 10-20 minutes.
- Resistance: Offers strong adhesion to metal surfaces, with excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, and solvents. It can withstand high pressures, making it suitable for sealing leaks in pressurized systems.
Wencon Coating
- Applications: Provides a smooth, non-porous surface resistant to corrosion and erosion, suitable for protecting tanks, pumps, and valves.
- Resistance: High resistance to aggressive chemicals, including hydrocarbons and seawater, as well as mechanical wear. It offers a durable barrier against harsh environments, making it ideal for prolonged exposure to corrosive substances.
Wencon Rapid

Wencon Cream
Wencon Cream is a basic two-component, epoxy compound with a wide range of applications for repair and rebuilding of worn, damaged, cracked and corroded metal parts. Typical applications are corroded tanks, pump housings, impellers, valves, pipes, flange faces, roller bearing seats, worn shafts, hydraulic rams and heat exchangers. Wencon Cream is also excellent as a filling compound. Wencon Cream exhibits many of the characteristics of metals, which together with outstanding adhesion to all metallic surfaces makes the repair compound highly suitable for repair of corroded and worn metals.

UNDER WATER PRODUCTS
Wencon UW Cream and Putty
- Applications: Designed for underwater applications, these products cure on wet surfaces and are perfect for repairing hulls and submerged structures.
- Resistance: Formulated to resist seawater and marine growth. They maintain adhesion and structural integrity under constant water pressure and can withstand the abrasive effects of underwater currents.
Wencon UW Coating
Wencon UW (underwater) Coating is a two component product, to be applied on wet surfaces or under water. The UW Coating is ideal for repair of ballast- and cooling pipes, combined with interchanging layers of Wencon reinforcement tape. Excellent for repair jobs which, due to high humidity, have to be done in wet conditions.
Typical applications are coatings of steel surfaces rebuilt with Wencon UW Cream, and coatings under water – like ships hulls and/or other submerged structures, tanks, pipes etc. Examples of repairs under extreme conditions could be: On-site repair of sea-water filter housings, unable to achieve a dry surface and coating of scratched painting on hulls in splash-zones and under water.

Wencon Exhaust Repair Kit
- Applications: A high-temperature resistant product for repairing engine heads, manifolds, and exhaust systems.
- Resistance: Engineered to handle extreme temperatures and pressure fluctuations, the kit provides a robust solution for repairing components exposed to high thermal stress and corrosive exhaust gases.
Wencon Hi-Temp
Wencon Hi-Temp is a high performance two-component, liquid epoxy coating developed for applications in high load areas. It provides a smooth non porous surface, which is resistant to high temperatures, light chemical aggression and wear as well as bi-metallic corrosion.
Typical applications are coating of surfaces rebuild after deterioration including repair of lining on inert gas systems, fresh water generators, hot pipes and heating coils, protection of tanks, pumps and valves against chemical and mechanical aggression, corrosion and bi-metallic corrosion.

Wencon Ceramic Coating

Typical applications are coating of surfaces rebuild after deterioration and protection against wear, corrosion and bi-metallic corrosions. Wencon Ceramic Coating has a high abrasion resistance, making it suitable for applications on propeller nozzles, rudders, thruster tunnels and housings. In addition, the product also offer high temperature resistance, which makes it ideal for applications on gas scrubbers, condensers and end-covers.
