He was born in Tekirdağ in 1951, completed his primary and secondary education in his home city and Edirne, and after completing his high school education at Kabataş Erkek High School, he graduated from Istanbul Technical University Deck Department in 1974;  D.B. Sea Shipping Inc. starting the sea life on their ships; After 25 years as captain, inspector and ship operating director at Aygaz A.Ş., which has the first LPG marine fleet in Turkey, he worked as the yacht division production and operations director at RMK Shipyard,Sener Holding A.S. Member of the Executive Board responsible for ship management, Yıldız Holding A.Ş. General Directorate of Marinas; General Directorate of Istanbul Shipyard, Turkey Gemi Sanayi A.Ş. With 49 years of experience blending strategic perspective and meticulousness to detail from Turkey’s leading institutions, such as Board of Directors membership, in-house efficiency and operational excellence approach and systematic management philosophy, in addition to the Chamber of Shipping Council Membership (13 years) D.T.O Chemical Carrier and LPG carrier angel He took part in non-governmental organizations such as group chairman (4 years), Maritime Faculty Foundation Vice-President (Continuing).
